About Ruby & White Lamb
Our grass-fed lamb is sourced from Martin Drew's farm in Upper Wraxall.
Allowed to roam free in small flocks, Martin's sheep benefit from a natural, chemical-free diet of meadow grasses and homegrown turnips - resulting in a sweeter tasting meat on the plate.
Martin chooses to raise two of our favourite breeds of lamb - the native British Suffolk and the Texel Cross, both renowned for their superior build and muscle developement.
The carcasses are hung for up to a week following slaughter, so that they arrive at Ruby & White ready to produce tender cuts of meat for the counter.
